The International Cooperation for Convergence of Technical Requirements for the Assessment of Feed Ingredients (ICCF) is pleased to announce the launch of its new website at www.iccffeed.org.
IFIF is a founding member of the ICCF, and the ICCF aims to establish common guidance, across different international jurisdictions, which cover technical requirements for the assessment of feed ingredients, including new uses of existing feed ingredients. This important international collaboration is the result of a collaborative effort to bring together feed regulators and industry feed associations to work on mechanisms that help facilitate free and fair trade of feed ingredients while supporting the safety of the feed and food chain and sustainably meeting the global growing demand for animal products.
The website is the central repository of the ICCF Guidance Documents and provides information on the ICCF charter, organisation, structure, and on-going work. The ICCF work, undertaken by experts, supports regulators and the feed industry with regards to the technical requirements for the assessment of feed ingredients.
There are currently three ICCF published guidance document already available for download at www.iccffeed.org.
The International Cooperation for the Convergence of Technical requirements for the Assessment of Feed Ingredients (ICCF) was created in 2017. It was founded by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the Animal Nutrition Association of Canada (ANAC), the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), the European Commission (DG SANTE) and the EU Association of Specialty Feed Ingredients and their Mixtures (FEFANA), and the International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF). The ICCF aims at developing science-based technical guidance documents supporting the feed industry in assessing their products and to aid in the preparation of pre-market assessment submissions. For more information about the ICCF, please contact the ICCF secretariat at email@example.com.
